Bob Goff is the author of the New York Times bestselling Love Does and Everybody, Always, Dream Big and his latest book, Undistracted.
He is the Honorary Consul to the Republic of Uganda, an attorney, and the founder of Love Does—a nonprofit human rights organization operating in Uganda, India, Nepal, Iraq, and Somalia. He's a lover of balloons, cake pops, and helping people pursue their big dreams. Bob's greatest ambitions in life are to love others, do stuff, and, most importantly, to hold hands with his wife, Sweet Maria Goff, and spend time with their amazing kids. Any genre of writing is welcome as we touch on various aspects while you’re here. Guests can come along, or bring someone with them! Often times the non-writer ends up being inspired to write something by the time they leave!
This is also a great retreat to attend if you are thinking about starting a podcast, becoming a speaker, or writing a blog. You will walk away with valuable tools to help you take the next step.

San Diego Airport is the closest one, approximately 1:15 from The Oaks. We recommend renting a car and driving up. You can certainly take Uber here, it’s not very reliable getting back out. You can line up a private ride with our transportation company by calling McCracken Transportation 619-838-9383 and Ben will help you out!
If you’re interested in being put on a list to ride share with someone else attending the event, please email holly@oakscenter.com and she will add you to a list that goes out to the group.
